| Late Rally by Kings Secures Win | The Atlantic City Kings eked out a 5-4 win versus the Winfield Warriors at The Royal Colosseum. Nobody did more than pitcher Alejandro Sánchez, who captured player of the game honors. Atlantic City reliever Naoyuki Kikuchi was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Julio Arreola took the loss. Juan López earned the save, his 3rd.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when designated hitter Marco Sotelo, who leads the DML in triples with 2, drew a walk. The Kings went on to win.
"This team is real focused right now," said Atlantic City manager Sayyid bin Ragheb.
Atlantic City, now 20-6, has played well in the early going.
