| Panthers Win at Houston, 10-5 | The Charleston Panthers stopped the Houston Sting, 10-5, at Woodland Park. The Panthers got a big game from Paul Seibold, who went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. The Sting, now 9-17, continue their slow start.
The Panthers got a big at-bat from right fielder Mario Berrum. For the game, Berrum went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Charleston a 3-0 lead.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Charleston manager Jim Crawford.
