Saints Drop Another One

The Bel Air Princes topped the St. Paul Saints, 6-3, in Donnie Moore League action at Philip Banks Field. The player of the game was Bel Air pitcher Fernando Diaz. Bel Air reliever Naotake Nakamura picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Robert Simeone absorbed the loss. Bel Air goes to 21-4 with the win.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Dan Mann was at the plate when Bel Air scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Princes to go in front, 4-3.

Diaz called the triumph "a good team win."
