| Vikings Solve Mustangs, 4-2 | The Dublin Vikings defeated the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-2, in Donnie Moore League action at Valhalla Summit, with Dublin pitcher Francisco Pasillas named player of the game. The Mustangs fall to 9-16 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2038 season.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from first baseman Tony Figueroa. For the game, Figueroa went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 22nd hit of the season gave Dublin a 3-2 lead.
"I thought we played a nice game," Pasillas told the Dublin News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
