| Black Squirrels Lose, 3-1, at The Royal Colosseum | In a low-scoring tilt between the Atlantic City Kings and the Tree City Black Squirrels, John Ketchum was the difference-maker. The Atlantic City left-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. Ketchum, now 2-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Naoyuki Kikuchi recorded his 4th save for Atlantic City.
Felix Avila, who is tied for 7th in the DML with a .302 batting average, aided the Atlantic City cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 2 with a walk.
