| Hoage Dazzles in Kingwood Win | The Kingwood Knights got a stellar performance from pitcher Kyle Hoage, who handcuffed the Nichols offense en route to a 4-0 win at Stable Park. The win leaves Kingwood with a record of 12-11.
Hoage, who dominated for Kingwood, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 5.1 innings, while striking out 11. Nichols batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hoage told the Kingwood Bulletin.
