| Vikings Edge Bel Air in Pitching Duel | The Dublin Vikings got a stellar performance from pitcher Eddie Rangel, who handcuffed the Bel Air offense en route to a 1-0 win at Valhalla Summit. In 8.1 innings, Rangel surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. Losses have been few and far between for the Princes so far this season. Their record drops to 18-4.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from shortstop Tyler Crittenden. For the game, Crittenden went 1 for 3. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 17th hit of the season gave Dublin a 1-0 lead.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Rangel said.
