| Emeralds Mow Down Bush Wackers, 11-0 | The Eugene Emeralds got a stellar performance from pitcher Daniel Luna, who handcuffed the Brisbane offense en route to a 11-0 win at Prefontaine Park. In 5 innings, Luna surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. Donald Cacace sewed up the save, his 1st.
Sergio Salazar's at-bat in the bottom of the second inning was a big one for Eugene. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Eugene leading 1-0, the designated hitter reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 2 runs.
