| Victory Pushes Gnats Record to 13-7 | The Nichols Gnats picked up a win at Stable Park, knocking off the Kingwood Knights, 6-1. Starting pitcher Seth McMahill was an essential part of his team's success. Nichols is now 13-7.
Roberto Alvarado aided the Nichols cause with a 2-run double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," McMahill said after the game.
