| Pelicans Solve Hornets, 3-2 | The St. Petersburg Pelicans got a stellar performance from pitcher Mario Pagan, who handcuffed the Bethesda offense en route to a 3-2 win at Hornets Field. In 7 innings, Pagan surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Marlon Douglas sewed up the save, his 6th.
Sean Moody hit a run-scoring double off Jose Galaviz in the top of the fourth, which put the Pelicans in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Moody had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

The Hornets fall to 8-14 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2038 season.
