| Crosscutters Subdue St. Paul, 5-3 | Williamsport pitcher Dave Castro did his part in helping his team beat the St. Paul Saints, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. St. Paul, at 4-12, is off to a poor start in 2038.
Jeff Schwartz, who is tied for 6th in the LBL in triples with 1, aided the Williamsport cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 3.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Schwartz said.
