Salas Dazzles in West Virginia Win

Andy Salas pitched a gem in leading West Virginia to a 5-1 victory over the Tree City Black Squirrels. Mike Crawford picked up the save, his 2nd. The Black Squirrels fall to 9-10 and continue their wobbly start to the 2038 season.

The Black Squirrels had little chance against Salas, who overpowered Tree City hitters and struck out 10.

After the game, Salas refused to speak to a reporter for the West Virginia News. "You've accused me of throwing teammates under the bus," he said. "So, excuse me if I decline to answer your questions."
