| Princes Edge Past Orphans, 9-8 | Bel Air beat Cambridge at Philip Banks Field, escaping with a 9-8 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Oscar Ogas, who earned player of the game honors. He went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win was Derek Rolf's in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Rusty Tine took the loss for Cambridge. The Princes, now 15-3, have been on fire in the early going.
Kenny Disbennett was the walk-off hero for Bel Air. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Princes center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Princes manager Leland Austin. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
