| Extra-Inning Win by Bush Wackers over Sting | Brisbane starter Dedrick Savage pitched effectively against the Houston Sting at Woodland Park. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. The Sting, now 5-12, continue their slow start.
Jorge Serna's hit in the top of the 12th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a cutter from Jordan Little for a run-scoring single. It put Brisbane in front, 3-2.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Savage.
