Armada Fall to Sarmiento, Rhinos

The Rubber City Rhinos defeated the Quebec Armada, 15-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Rubber Grounds, with Rubber City first baseman Robbie Sarmiento named player of the game. Even with the win, the Rhinos have a dismal 13-37 record.

Sarmiento had a key at-bat for Rubber City early in the game. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Rubber City an early 2-0 lead.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Sarmiento told a Rubber City Herald reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
