| 9-5 Win by Road Warriors Continues Hot Start | The Westside Road Warriors topped the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 9-5, with youngster Mike Brandenburg playing a key role. Brandenburg went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs for the Road Warriors in the win. Manuel Visser sewed up the save, his 2nd. Westside, now 12-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Chris DeLacy, who is tied for 6th in the DML in RBI with 15, aided the Westside cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the third. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"I felt good up there," said DeLacy. "I saw the ball well."
