| Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Mustangs | The San Angelo Mustangs topped the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 4-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. The player of the game was San Angelo pitcher Eric Watson. The Lake Monsters, now 10-7, continue their sluggish start.
San Angelo won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Keon Ford on the mound for Okanagan, designated hitter Rico Castillo hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Mustangs fans to their feet.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Castillo told the San Angelo Citizen.
