| Victory Pushes Princes Record to 11-3 | The Bel Air Princes bested the Eugene Emeralds by a score of 5-3, with right fielder Dave Newcombe getting the main credit. On the day, Newcombe was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Princes. Getting the save was Derek Rolf, his 6th. Bel Air, now 11-3, is playing great baseball to start the year.
Newcombe had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Princes went on to win.
