| 6-0 Win by Road Warriors Continues Hot Start | The Westside Road Warriors picked up a win at Road Warriors Field, knocking off the Houston Sting, 6-0. Starting pitcher Karl Macey, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Houston, at 3-11, is off to a poor start in 2038.
The Road Warriors got a big at-bat from third baseman Bob Hunt. For the game, Hunt was 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Westside a 2-0 lead.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Hunt told the Westside Daily News.
