| Victory Pushes Dancin' Outlaws Record to 8-7 | Conditions were not ideal but West Virginia and Dublin were able to put their game in the books.
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws picked up a win at Penlee Park, knocking off the Dublin Vikings, 11-3. Starting pitcher Jose Aguilera, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Aguilera got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Aguilera allowed 3 earned runs.
Bert Ferrer had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for West Virginia. With the bases loaded and the Dancin' Outlaws leading 2-1, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ferrer.
The Vikings fall to 7-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
