The Eugene Emeralds eked out a 3-2 win versus the Bel Air Princes at Prefontaine Park. Nobody did more than designated hitter Aaron Keller, who captured player of the game honors. Losses have been rare for the Princes, who are now 9-3.

The Emeralds got a big at-bat from left fielder Steve Sexton. For the game, Sexton went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Eugene a 2-0 lead.

"Enjoyed this one," Keller told the Eugene Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
