| Victory Over Hornets Takes Westside to 9-3 | Behind the bravura of left fielder Sergio Alamo, the Westside Road Warriors topped the Bethesda Hornets by the score of 7-5. Alamo was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Road Warriors. The Hornets fall to 5-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2038 season.
The Road Warriors got a big at-bat from first baseman Jason Albright. For the game, Albright went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Westside a 7-5 lead.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Alamo told the Westside Daily News.
