| Victory Over Sting Takes Tree City to 6-4 | The Tree City Black Squirrels defeated the Houston Sting, 5-2, in Donnie Moore League action at The Nut House, with Tree City pitcher Takao Koyama named player of the game. Tree City, now 6-4, has gotten their season off to a good start.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the second inning, but Koyama was able to pitch out of a jam. With the bases loaded and Houston trailing 3-2, Koyama retired Matt Hudson, who struck out.
