Fernandez Dominates G.o.D. in Shutout

Ruben Fernandez had the Tonga G.o.D. dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 1-0 shutout performance for the Midland Rockhounds. He gave up 5 hits, issued 1 walk and had 7 strikeouts.

Tonga hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery.

"When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager Garth Lee said. "We just never figured him out."
