Cyclones Prevail, 5-3, Over St. Paul

The Coney Island Cyclones defeated the St. Paul Saints, 5-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at Coney Island Coliseum, with Coney Island first baseman Brice Brady named player of the game. Jimmie Morton picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. Stephen Schuller earned his 3rd save in 3 tries.

Brady contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Coney Island in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, Brady took a fastball from Raul Fuentes and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Cyclones to leap in front, 4-3.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Brady said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
