| Earthquakes Lose, 4-2, at Sin City Stadium | Las Vegas Aces starter Salah bin Atif turned in an exceptional performance against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Sin City Stadium, resulting in a Las Vegas win, 4-2. The winning pitcher was bin Atif, now 2-0. He tossed 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 11. Picking up the save was Chata Jamaot, his 8th.
Tony Ramirez was 1 for 3 with a walk for Las Vegas. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Donald Barron. It was his 6th walk of the season.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Las Vegas skipper Sayyid bin Ragheb.
The Aces are now 24-27, while the Earthquakes fall to 25-24.
