| Kings Need Extras to Top Vikings | The Kings faced a stiff challenge from Dublin pitcher Eddie Rangel, but persevered to claim a win at Valhalla Summit. The final score was 3-1. Rangel went 9.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Atlantic City reliever Josh Denney picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Matt Hendricksen was saddled with the loss. The Kings keep rolling, raising their record to 3-1.
Enrique Gomez made it 3-1, Atlantic City, in the top of the 13th when he reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 2 runs. It was a big at-bat in the Kings win.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Gomez.
