| Sting Get Road Win, 6-5 | The Houston Sting grabbed a 6-5 win over the Bethesda Hornets at Hornets Field. Houston center fielder Melvin Bibiano was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs to earn player of the game honors. Reliever Jim Riggs picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Jose Galaviz took the loss. Houston has a record of 1-1.
