| Shamrocks Bang Out 9-4 Win Versus Biloxi | The Pacifica Shamrocks downed the Biloxi Bullets, 9-4, at The Sand Dune. Rich Berry led the way, going 3-for-4 for Pacifica. Ming Lai got credit for the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 88-74 with this latest triumph.
Had Eric Marino not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Marino hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Shamrocks.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Berry.
