| Beetlecats Get Road Win, 9-1 | Buzzard's Bay and Cape Verde got after it at Conduit Caverns.
Buzzard's Bay right fielder Mike Marti had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Cape Verde Vesuvius, 9-1. Damani Letang was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities.
Marti had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Beetlecats went on to win.
Beetlecats manager Cal Gray had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
