| Black Bears Get Road Win, 3-1 | Sandy Springs got a terrific performance from pitcher Tony Mejía, but it wasn't enough to beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears. Fraser Valley won the The Coliseum contest, 3-1. Mejía was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs. Reliever Nick Allen picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Tony Mejía took the loss. Fraser Valley is now 94-67, 12˝ games up in the TMLAA Bruce Bochy Division.
The Black Bears got a big at-bat from right fielder Jorge Sandoval. For the game, Sandoval was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 21st home run of the season gave Fraser Valley a 2-0 lead.
