Sandy Springs got a terrific performance from pitcher Tony Mejía, but it wasn't enough to beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears. Fraser Valley won the The Coliseum contest, 3-1. Mejía was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs. Reliever Nick Allen picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Tony Mejía took the loss.
