| Rams Squelch Hellcats Offense in Shutout Win | It was a good time at Outlander Park, where fans came to watch the Jacksonville Hellcats and Frisco Rams get after it.
The Frisco Rams racked up a win at Outlander Park, bumping off the Jacksonville Hellcats, 6-0. Larry Sentner, who started for Frisco, pitched effectively for his team. Sentner got the win, improving to 4-6. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Sentner allowed no earned runs. Jesus Martinez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 5 save opportunities.
The Rams got a big at-bat from shortstop Kelton Burton. For the game, Burton went 1 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Frisco a 2-0 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Burton.
The win puts the Rams at 74-87, while the Hellcats drop to 70-91.
