| Bullets Lose, 7-0, at Bloomfield Road | The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats topped the Biloxi Bullets, 7-0, in RCLAA action at Bloomfield Road. The player of the game was Buzzard's Bay pitcher Kevin Lynn. Javier Vargas notched his 1st save in 2 chances. The Beetlecats bumped their record to 85-74 with this latest triumph.
Alex Guerrero had a big bases-clearing triple for the Beetlecats in the bottom of the third inning. With Buzzard's Bay leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Danny Suarez and stroked the triple to right-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beetlecats ahead, 6-0.
"We did a lot of things right," said Lynn.
