| Snaps Lose Again, 3-0, to Beehive | In a tight battle between the Madison Beehive and the Cincinnati Snaps, pitcher Leon Green was in the zone. The Madison right-hander was named the player of the game in Madison's 3-0 win. Green, the winner, moves to 12-11. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 4 walks. The Snaps have now dropped 7 straight.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when left fielder Sean Howard, who is tied for 2nd in the TAA with a .323 batting average, drew a walk. The Beehive went on to win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Howard.
