| Biernacki goes 4-for-4, Leads Tune-Ups to Win | The Youngstown Tune-Ups knocked off the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-1, at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Brent Biernacki, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Youngstown won. The third baseman was 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Youngstown is now 74-82, Silicon Valley 79-78.
Shalom Oosterman helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring triple to give Youngstown a 1-0 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Oosterman said after the game.
