| Rats Bridle Bulldogs, 4-3 | The Rock River Rats did just enough to sneak past the Spokane Bulldogs, 4-3, at The Kennel. Rock River pitcher Kazue Fujita earned player of the game honors. Fujita, now 14-11, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 10, walking 4, and allowing 3 earned runs. Bryan Jackowitz got the save, his 6th in 8 chances.
The Rats got a big at-bat from shortstop Mario Torres. For the game, Torres was 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season gave Rock River a 4-3 lead.
