Black Bears Bang Out 11-4 Win Versus Long Island

The Fraser Valley Black Bears defeated the Long Island Ducks, 11-4, in TMLAA action at Long Island Stadium, with Fraser Valley pitcher Tommy Forbush named player of the game. The Black Bears bumped their record to 90-64 with this latest triumph.

Jorge Sandoval, who is tied for 5th in the TAA in bases on balls with 97, aided the Fraser Valley cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the right fielder went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Forbush.
