Robins Shut Out Bullets

With left fielder Brian Wild leading the charge, the Bristol Robins defeated the Biloxi Bullets, 3-0, at Ashton Gate. Wild went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was Miguel Sanchez's in relief. His record improves to 8-3. Jaden Brown took the loss for Biloxi. Even with the win, the Robins have a dismal 53-101 record.

Wild had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 splitter from Joe Campton, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Robins a 2-0 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Wild.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Wild told the Bristol Daily.
