| Monarchs Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Biloxi | Marysville played host to Biloxi at the friendly confines of Mitts Fieldhouse.
Roger Katz pitched a gem to lead Marysville to a 6-1 victory over the Biloxi Bullets. The first-place Monarchs have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
The Monarchs got a big at-bat from right fielder Frank Wickett. For the game, Wickett went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 26th home run of the season gave Marysville a 3-0 lead.
Katz attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
