The Bristol Robins defeated the Cape Verde Vesuvius, 4-2, in RCLAA action at Ashton Gate, with Bristol pitcher Graeme Charge named player of the game. Even with the win, the Robins have a dismal 52-99 record.

The Robins got a big at-bat from third baseman Steve Clark. For the game, Clark was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Bristol a 4-2 lead.
