| Ramos, Bulldogs Too Much for Black Bears | The Spokane Bulldogs grabbed a 5-1 win over the Fraser Valley Black Bears at The Stetson Bowl. Spokane shortstop Danny Ramos was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Ramon Romandia, credited with the save, is now 28 for 33 in save opportunities. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 71-79.
With Spokane leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Ramos hit a fastball from Nick Allen for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Bulldogs ahead, 4-1.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ramos told the Spokane Citizen.
