The San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Carson City Mustang, 8-6, in TMLAA action at The Clone Army, with San Antonio pitcher Ben Charron named player of the game. Charron went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-4.
The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from left fielder Takaaki Hirayama. For the game, Hirayama went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 7th home run of the season gave San Antonio a 4-0 lead.
