| Rats Win at Wichita, 5-2 | The Rock River Rats downed the Wichita Wolverines, 5-2, at Howling Park. The Rats were led by Jake Cromar, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Juan Bravo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 6 save opportunities. The third-place Rats improved to 70-75.
Cromar had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Rats went on to win.
