| Robins Need Extras to Top Red Bulls | The Bristol Robins wiggled past the Riverside Red Bulls, 4-3, at Red Bull Stadium. Bristol pitcher Graeme Charge earned player of the game honors. Even with the win, the Robins have a dismal 50-96 record.
Late-game drama came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Brian Wild, hit a single. It helped Bristol seize the win.
"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Riverside manager Roger Reynolds.
