| Beehive Bridle Cornhuskers, 3-1 | The Madison Beehive topped the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 3-1, in TMLAA action at The Hive. The player of the game was Madison pitcher and Rogers, Arkansas native Travis Gibson. Kris Richardson was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 30 save opportunities. The 5th-place Beehive improved to 67-77.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, shortstop Jesus Najera came through big-time for the Beehive. With Madison trailing 1-0, he belted a solo home run.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said DeKalb manager Eduardo Varerla.
