| O'Donohue Hurls Mustang to Shutout Victory | Dave O'Donohue bent a little, but he didn't break against the Fraser Valley Black Bears. The Carson City Mustang pitcher hurled a 4-hit 5-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering no walks and tallying 3 strikeouts.
"Dave is good at getting out of jams," Mustang manager Todd Barrett told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
To date this year O'Donohue has compiled a 14-7 mark with a 3.57 ERA in 30 starts. |
