| Bullets Need Extras to Top Tune-Ups | Benefiting from Luis Valdez's productive game, the Biloxi Bullets downed the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 5-4. Valdez was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI for the Bullets. Naoyuki Kikuchi, credited with the win, is now 3-5. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The Bullets bumped their record to 80-64 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Biloxi third baseman Jose Arriola, facing James Arnold, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bullets the 5-4 win.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Arriola told the Biloxi Daily News.
