| Rats Win at Biloxi, 8-5 | The Rock River Rats beat the Biloxi Bullets, 8-5, at The Sand Dune. The Rats got a fine performance from catcher Nick Dye, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. José Mendoza got the win, improving to 6-6. He pitched 8.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 1 and walking 1. The Rats improved to 69-74.
Dye had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Rats went on to win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Dye.
