| Storm Troopers Win at Frisco, 4-2 | San Antonio rode a fine outing from starter Ben Charron to victory over the Frisco Rams at Outlander Park. The final score was 4-2. Matthew Varga was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities. The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 81-62 with this latest triumph.
The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from left fielder Takaaki Hirayama. For the game, Hirayama was 1-5 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 5th triple of the season gave San Antonio a 2-0 lead.
