| Bombers Prevail, 5-4, Over Brooklyn | Gil Perez did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Brooklyn Black Knights from losing, 5-4, to the South Carolina Bombers at Bomber Ballpark. Perez hit 2 home runs. The Black Knights, at 24-24, have lost 4 straight games.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from left fielder Ernesto Argueta. For the game, Argueta went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 18th home run of the season gave South Carolina a 3-1 lead.
